We made it into Chicago around noon today we walked around a bit and had lunch and then we checked into the Palmer House Hilton.
A little trick for anyone thinking about going to Chicago. I talked to another guest, at the wedding, who comes to Chicago fairly often. A while back she was trying to see how low she could get for a four star hotel. She started low and worked up until she got to $99 and the Palmer House came up. She has since done it successfully several times. I looked the other night and the cheapest I could find for that hotel was $259. I put in $99 for a four star hotel in the loop section of Chicago and I got a room. The hotel is phenomenal. We got a great big room and the hotel is close to everything.
