Yesterday we went to Independence, Kansas. We went to the house, post office, the school, and the well. Then we went to Wichita and got some tea.

Sounds like fun Kelan. I hope you remember some of the things you see on your trip. Carrie and Christie don't remember much of our trip out west, but they were only 5 and 7 years old. Try to stay cool! When you reach the Rocky Mountains it should be cooler at night anyway. Love Aunt M
Hi Kelan! i love hearing the kid's version versus the parents. It's a whole different ballgame stuffed into the back seat. I love that all of Witchita boils down to tea for you.
I hope you all are enjoying every minute! Ok, ok, there might be some minutes that are not 'fun'--but it's all part of wonderful experience, a right of passage, keep your eyes open, try to see and live every moment, try to make as many "Remember when..." moments as you possibly can! xoxoxox Aunt Mindy
Kelan, what did you think of the Rockies after driving through all the flat land in Kansas? And how do you like Denver? I've been tracking the weather as you go along and it looks like that hot spell is finally over. Have fun at the wedding - you're such a good photographer so please take some pics for us.
