St. Louis

We made it to St. Louis in one day! It was a long drive (into the sun, no less), but the kids were fantastic - very patient and cooperative. Lots of hotels were booked, but we finally found a Days Inn with a room. As we pulled in we saw a rowdy group in the pool drinking bottles of beer. That's glass bottles...in the pool! Ok, we won't be swimming here. The room is just so-so, but we were too tired to care. Now we are packing up and heading out to Cahokia this morning. Looks like a storm is brewing, though, so we better come up with Plan B.
