Running in the Rockies

This morning I took a run in these beautiful mountains, and here was my view. The air smells so clean, cool, and piney. Exhilirating!

Yesterday afternoon we went to Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. James Taylor was playing that night and we got kicked out of the amphitheatre, so we hiked around Red Rocks instead. Here is a photo of us at the amphitheatre. We have almost the same exact photo of us here five years ago, only then I was hugely pregnant with Jules.

On our way to our hotel in Evergreen yesterday, we stopped to see Kevin and Catherine. Their house is so nice and the setting couldn't be more perfect for them. Evergreen is such a quaint little town in the mountains (despite the Wal-Mart - yes, another Wal-Mart!).

Today we hiked at Elk Meadow Park, then had a nice lunch in Evergreen. Now the kids are having a swim and then a little rest before the wedding tonight.

It looks like so much fun! We are loving your blog. Soak up all of that clean dry air for us.
I would have loved to see the little house stuff, it was one of my favorite shows as well.
Ezra misses you guys!

It must be wonderful to be in one place - one gorgeous place - for awhile!
Can't wait to see wedding pictures.
Please tell the kids that the Steelers won their first game last night and the new players they saw at practice did really well. BUT Charlie Batch broke his collar bone.

What a magnificent view, Amy! I'm sure the pictures don't even do it justice. Those Rocky Mountains are so amazing - and so different from the Pennsylvania mountains. I'm so glad you had a chance to go out on a run.
